Professional wrestler Jeff Hardy is in the Moore County jail Friday after being arrested on charges of trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steroids.
Hardy, 32, of 265 Boys Camp Road,Cameron, was arrested after a search of his residence yielded 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release.
A joint investigation conducted by officers with the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department led to the arrest.
Vicodin and anabolic steriods are Schedule III substances, while Soma is a non-controlled prescription pill.
Hardy and his brother, Matt, wrestling as the Hardy Boyz, were six-time World Wrestling Entertainment World Tag Team Champion. Individually, Jeff Hardy held the WWE World Champion belt one time and the World Heavyweight Championship twice.
Hardy was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
His bail was set at $125,000.

Deputy Neil Godfrey of the Moore County Sheriff's Department in Cartage, North Carolina confirmed to us that former WWE star Jeff Hardy was indeed arrested today on a number of drug-related charges. Godfrey also confirmed that Jeff Hardy was bailed out this afternoon "by his brother" and was free on bail. That would explain Jeff's statement to twitter which is posted below.

Sheriff Lane Carter reports the arrest of an individual on charges of trafficking in controlled prescription pills, and possession of anabolic steroids. Sheriff Carter reported a joint investigation conducted by officers from the Moore County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, Moore County Sheriff's Office Select Enforcement Unit, and Fayetteville Police Department led to the arrest.
Officers executed a search warrant at a residence located at [----Adress Deleted--] near Cameron, North Carolina. During the search officers located and seized approximately 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills (Soma's are non-controlled prescription pills), 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine, and items of drug paraphernalia. Vicodin and anabolic steroids are included in Schedule III within the North Carolina Controlled Substances Act. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $2,500.00.

Although Jeff Hardy seems ticked off at the media with the way we have covered the story so far, we are going by a press release that the Moore County Sheriff's Department issued about the incident. As for reports that Matt Hardy bailed him out, again, the Moore County Sheriff's Department stated that Jeff's "brother" bailed him out. Hardy's house was raided after an investigation, pills and cocaine are found, bail is set at $125,000..... are we really the people he should be pissed at?
We can now confirm that Hardy is now free on bail following his arrest earlier today for a number of drug charges. Ha I don't even know what to say about this,I mean this guy was pushed to the moon,loved by kids and had merch coming out of the izzass!!He had it all and now he's been reduced to being a drug dealer.I'm not going to pass judgement at all until everything comes to light over the next few days but things don't look good for Jeffery.I find it funny how all of this comes out after he leaves WWE and didn't want to resign with a bigger contract and such.The conspiracy theorist in me says someone in the WWE pulled the trigger and had Jeff busted...but I'm half crazy anyway.In the end I guess CM Punk was right about Jeff Hardy aaaaaaaaand he's dating Matt's ex...I guess that's why CM Punk is having the best week ever!!
Update On Mickie James' Ruptured Implant
Earlier this week it was reported that WWE diva Mickie James missed a house show on Sunday in Madison, Wisconsin and Monday's Raw from Chicago because one of her breast implants ruptured during a a recent match. The report is accurate and the former women's champion will undergo a corrective procedure this weekend. She will likely miss this weekend's house shows as a result.

-- Rumors have surfaced online saying World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is dating former WWE Diva Amy "Lita" Dumas. To put the speculation to rest, the multi-time Women's Champion is indeed dating Punk, The Sun can confirm.
Sources close to the pair told the UK newspaper they are seeing each other and have been for almost a year.
"It's not an issue with the WWE bosses," one source said. "It has been kept very personal and both Matt and Edge know about it, because Punk was man enough to tell both to their faces."
